Daily Journal: Day 23 of 365

It was another snowy day today. Fortunately, I didn’t have any runs to do except for a bank run. Usually, I find myself hoping that I’ll have somewhere to go just to be doing something, but today I was quite happy to just sit around the office and cool my jets.

I brought a piece of brisket to work with me to give to Kaye, the lady who works in the rental office. She liked it and wants me to go ahead and get another one and smoke it for her. We’re actually going to split one, since she thinks the whole thing will be too much for her and her husband. So we’re going to have a whole lot of brisket here, and I might just have to try to get rid of some of the new one at work. Maybe that’ll have to be my new calling, although I doubt that I’d make it very far around here…

On the other plus side today, I got my car re-registered before it was past due. I’ve been procrastinating on that one for about two and a half months, since I got the letter saying it was due. I should really try to take care of things more quickly from now on. I should make that another one of my 2010 resolutions, but I probably won’t. Maybe I’ll do it later…
