Daily Journal: Day 14 of 365
Today was mostly a cleaning day around the old apartment. I did make a batch of cookie dough, too, but it wound up being a type of dough that needs to be chilled for a couple of hours, and by the time the chilling was done, I really didn’t feel like rolling out the cookies and baking them and such. So now I have a batch of cookie dough in the fridge, which I should roll out and cut tomorrow. I also made dinner tonight. It was pretty simple. I sauteed some scallops in butter and garlic and served them with some Uncle Ben’s rice. It wasn’t bad, and took only about ten minutes.
I managed to get all of the stuff upstairs from the living room, and I even managed to weed through about half a dozen boxes, sorting out the tools and writing utensils and cross stitch stuff from all the rest of the crap. Of course, all the rest of the crap went back into the same boxes, and I still haven’t weeded through all of that. It’s definitely going to be an ongoing process. Who the hell knows how long I’ll be digging through boxes of cables?...
