Daily Journal: Day 80 of 365

So I’m kind of fudging a bit on the dates, because I didn’t actually write anything yesterday. But it’s early morning, so I’m going to let it slide this one time. Not that there was a whole lot to say yesterday. I went to work an hour late because I was over signing papers for life insurance in the morning. The agent had said it would take about twenty minutes to half an hour, but it took more like an hour and a half. Oh well.

Work itself was fairly slow, at least on the filing side, so I managed to get quite a bit done. Driving was fast enough that I didn’t have to sit around for very long, but not so hectic that it was annoying. Overall, it was a good work day.

And then I came home and looked after Ernie for about four hours. The girlfriend still isn’t feeling all that great, so she was napping on and off. She actually took half the day off work, and she was asleep when I got home. Hopefully the sleep and the medicine will help knock back the illness and get her back into her stride. And now, I have to finish getting ready for work…
