Daily Journal: Day 57 of 365

It’s been another long day. This morning I didn’t really do anything except the filing at work. I figured I’m far enough behind on that already, so why go look for other things to learn at the moment when it’s not necessary. I would like to get some more training on the warranty submission stuff at work, but I don’t know that I’m going to get all that great of training as the situation exists now. I need to talk to the department manager about the online training that he mentioned a week or so ago. I think that would be a much better route for me to take.

The driving part was pretty much constant today. I had one run waiting for me when I got there, and I wasn’t in the office for more than a minute or two at any time before I was out on the road again. It’s all right though, because the time passed tremendously quickly.

When we got home this evening, Ernie was fairly well behaved at first. But he still is going through his little spells of trying to be the dominant one. I’ve been trying a number of tactics to try to keep him from biting, but so far nothing is working all that well. We’re also continuing to have problems with him peeing on the rug, although he seems to have the whole concept of going poo outside down pat. The girlfriend and I have decided that we probably will go ahead and do the classes at Petsmart, as long as the guy teaching seems halfway decent.

For now, off to bed, because I need to get up in two hours to try to get the little guy to pee outside for a change…
