Daily Journal: Day 32 of 365

Yes, I did actually write an entry on day 31, but I actually wrote it in my paper journal and just didn’t manage to get it transferred into here. And I’m not sure I can do it retroactively, so I guess it’ll just have to go missing from here, although I’ll put it on my regular blog.

Today was extremely cold, at least by Texas standards. I’m well aware that there are areas of the country that didn’t make it into the positive mark on the Fahrenheit scale today, but not making it above freezing is cold enough for me. And with the wind chill taken into account, it was in the mid to low 20s most of the day today. I thought about not going into work, but I really do need the money.

Over the past couple of days, I’ve come to a decision. I’m going to try to get my cross stitch design business off the ground. I don’t know if I’ll be able to actually make a living at it, but I at least hope to have it paying for itself and possibly a little more by the end of the year. I’ve been settling for “good enough” for far too long now, and it’s time to actually try to get something useful done for myself…
